Remembrance Day November 2020

11th November 2020 at 11 a.m.

This morning, all staff and children of Nields School gathered in their bubble zones in the playground for the very first whole school gathering for the Remembrance Day service and two minutes silence.

Jack Cooper (year 6) played the Last Post and everyone fell silent...

£205.61 has been raised from our sales of Poppy merchandise This will be sent to the Royal British Legion, thank you.

To commemorate this day all the classes at Nields created a Poppy wreath, as you can see they look amazing on our display outside school on Nields Road.

Special thanks to Mrs Sarah Wood for making the two life-size Tommy soldiers and Mrs Cheryll Cooper for creating the cascading poppy net.
