School uniform

  • Dark blue cardigan or jumper (logo preferred)
  • Dark blue logo fleece (optional)
  • White polo shirt (logo optional)
  • Grey school trousers (or shorts in summer term) 
  • Grey skirt or pinafore dress
  • Blue gingham dress (summer term)
  • White, black or grey socks or tights
  • Flat black shoes (no trainers, inappropriate heels or open toe)

PE kit

  • Plain white t-shirt
  • Dark blue or black shorts, leggings, tracksuit bottoms or skort
  • Dark blue cardigan or jumper (logo preferred)
  • White socks
  • Black or white trainers

Jewellery is not allowed to be worn during PE lessons

Please also provide hair bobbles to tie long hair up.

Uniform exchange is a local charity that recycles and provides school uniform for any family in Kirklees. Visit their website for details on how to request uniform or for more information. If you wish to donate any uniform items, please place in the labelled wheelie bin in the school car park. 

  • It is advised for long hair to be tied up and jewellery is not allowed except for stud earrings.
 
  • Please make sure that each item of uniform is clearly labelled with your child’s name.

This helps us to return any items found around the school to its owner.   

Stikin Name labels for school uniform

If you are looking to label your childs clothing, we have set up a fundraising scheme with a company called Stikins, who produce name labels for school uniform and other belongings. We get an increased rate of commission for all orders. The schools unique fundraising number (must be entered on all orders for us to get commission) is 14382.

Bishopstone CE Primary School Water Bottle - Royal – Dress My School

Water bottles are available to buy from school at a cost of £1.50. 

  If children bring their own bottles from home please make sure that you provide them with a clear bottle filled with water and not juice. Please make sure that the bottle is labelled with your childs name.
