Our next big project is to repair and improve the main school playground. The markings will be re-done with new and exciting games which the children can play during break times, as well as a new shelter, planters and seating area. We are also fundraising to make more of the field accessible all year round (not just the few dry weeks in the summer!) and hope to be able to extend the trim trail or perhaps build a 2nd ball court!

Can you help provide a better outdoor play-area for Nields Early Years Unit?

There’s no doubt that Nields EYU is a brilliant place for our children to start their education journey. The nurture, support and teaching they receive is top quality, but the outdoor provision is in need of an upgrade.

It is easy to give, just sign up to the Co-op as a member and every time you buy a Co-op branded product, swipe your card and Nields School will get 1% to spend on our new play area. It may not sound like much, but our supporters have already generated £200! So please get involved and tell your friends and family (even those who are not in our area can chose Nields as their “local cause”!)

If you haven’t registered, please use the link https://membership.coop.co.uk/register or ask in the Co-op.

If you are a member, then please select Nields School as your chosen cause and remember to swipe your membership card every time you pop in.  https://www.coop.co.uk/local-causes

Don’t forget to keep collecting your Team GB stickers until 3rd November 2019. These can be left in the collection box in reception or feel free to stick them to the huge poster in the hall.

Thank you everyone for supporting this event.

Keep collecting empty crisp packets, pens, toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, bread bags and beauty products. Every item we collect raises money for the school and is saved from incineration or landfill.
