Friday 7th June Official Opening of the Trim Trail

After a tremendous year of effort and hard work by the PSFA the trim trail is now in place.

On Friday despite the awful weather, children, staff, friends, governors and sponsors watched on as Mrs Mulligan cut the ribbon to declare it officially open. Unfortunately It was a very soggy event and disappointing that the children couldn't play on the trim trail.

Thank you everyone for your help and support with all our fundraising efforts, it is very much appreciated.

Thank you to Pentagon Play Uk (supplier of the Trim Trail)

Thanks also to NBB (supplier of the picnic benches)

A big thank you to you all and the following for making the Trim Trail and the picnic benches possible:

The Moonwalk 2019 London

For its 22nd anniversary, the disco-themed Moonwalk challenge saw thousands of women and men wearing brightly decorated bras as they walked a Full Marathon (26.2 miles) or Half Marathon (13.1+2 miles) through the streets of London through the night.

Iconic London landmarks turned pink for the occasion, including the London Eye, Battersea Power Station, Sky Garden and various bridges.

Our own Mrs Cheryll Cooper and her sister completed the moonwalk.

In preparation for the walk Mrs Cooper walked 625 miles. She did this over the last few months and got sponsors for this and raised £512.00 for the school.

She also got sponsors for the official moonwalk and raised money for cancer research. She started the walk at 10.50 p.m. and finished at 7.10 a.m.

Congratulations, well done and thank you.

Mrs Cooper told the children and staff all about it in a special assembly.
