Monday 6th July.

Well here we are last two weeks of term! Where has the time gone?

The key areas we need to focus on are:

History: being able to retell the main events in a famous person's life eg. Blackbeard/Anne Bonny

Geography: use simple compass directions and locational and directional language as well as

name and locate the 7 continents and 5 oceans.

Art: draw/paint pirate ships, make pirate hats and props (eye patches/weapons) make a pirate hand puppet

Science: compare materials and investigate which materials float.

Writing: describing a pirate's life.

Today's activity:

Watch and listen to this super story, The Bun Gun by Jeremy Strong . When you have watched it choose your favourite character, draw a picture of them and write a detailed description.

IMPORTANT: When searching for anything on the internet make sure your parents are with you and type in pirates for kids to make sure what you see is suitable.

Have fun!

I miss you all!

Mrs Healy
